Artist History
Raised by vaudeville showgirls in the shadows of the Portland freeways, Anny left the northwest to pursue a career winning money on tv gameshows. A series of disastrous love affairs led to the formation of legendary LA boy-girl pop band The Tearjerkers. After they disintegrated under the weight of three songwriters, Anny formed Annyland, whose self-released CD "She Walks In" achieved regular rotation on over 200 radio stations nationwide. Anny is now performing solo or with the ever-changing Black Dress Band, and working on a new CD scheduled for release in 2001. |
