Just after the Dawn of Man, an apocalyptic force emanated forth from the innards of the planet, emerging with a cosmic resonance which struck a sympathetic vibration with the fundamental harmonic tones of the surrounding spheres. This force, known at once as the "Grüv" embedded itself in the burgeoning psyches of various indigenous simian creatures who were themselves emerging from aeons of primordial ooze.
