Artist History The four of them began playing together in September 1997 at Suicidal Fish Studio's in Iowa City, Iowa. Brian fit right in with his wailing creativity and terrific jazz influence. (He also took the role of vocals for the first time.) Mandi, Eric and Dave began to mesh fantastically with their syncopated fusion of funk, rock, reggae, ska, and punk, (occasionally punctuated with Eric’s own unique sonic spin and heavily distorted guitar). Soon after, (about nine months), VigorTone, released their first album-- A CD of seven original songs entitled: “Pigs Can Do More Than You Think”.
