Artist History
Fronted by former Interscope recording artist Lauren Fay, THE RAYS have been performing around the Northeast for the last two years. Their music combines, melodic vocals with dissonant guitars, blending ethereal influences with pop and rock sensibilities.
The band's energetic live shows have earned them spots opening for Luna, Jennifer Trynin, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Gravel Pit, Mary Lou Lord, Love Spit Love, and Honeychrome (featuring former Belly guitarist Tom Gorman).

Two Minute Heaven, Sugar High & nine more. There's nothing quite like the unbridled energy of a good old fashioned melodic guitar pop-rock! The Rays prove conclusively that excellent tunes, vibrant rhythms and frenetic fret action make for a potent mix. The tasteful influences cover the whole gamut of rock - Lauren Fay's vocals may recall Blondie, the Go-Gos and the Muffs - but The Rays are the genuine article. Don't wait, you need The Rays now! http://home.sprintmail.com/~chebert/
