The PRteam, are the result of years of research into the nature of popular culture. The team members were genetically engineered to embody the corporate ideology and inspire immitation by wayward souls the world over. Their modern elevator style, sonic electro nerdadelic is charged with a passion for financial accumulation and a mild sense of detatchment. The teams personalities have been designed as a composite of all the traits shown to be essential in the construction of the modern pop icon. In the flesh and on the airwaves the PRteam work tirelessly to sedate a restless population and reaffrim the values of the New Capitalism. |

Artist History
The PRteam, emerged in 1998 from the ashes of Newcastle experimental Rock outfit Clokwork. Their first show was a supporting slot for Atari Teenage Riot and The Secret Chiefs 3. In 1999 they appeared live on JJJ during the benevolent unearthing of Newcastle. Since then they have been performing on minature east coast tours of Australia, and recording their debut albumn 'soft core'. |
