Artist History
Sealed Weasels are a band with a mission. The three-piece band, originally hailing from Whitby, Ontario wants people to remember the feeling they had the first time they heard a great song."Music has an impact on people. When you hear a song, and you can remember where you were the first time you heard it, you know you're hearing something great" says Paul French (Vocals & Guitar).Sealed Weasels, which also consists of Bill Kimberley (Bass, Keyboards & Vocals), and Wally (Drums & Vocals), are currently hard at work on their first full length CD, tentatively titled Weaselocity, a follow up to last year's successful CD-Single release of Bionic. They are also writing the soundtrack to the independent film "Harmonivore" by Writer/Director Uni Dublin. Wally, Kimberley and French have been playing together for over ten years, beginning with their time together as the Three Piece Charlie Band and Rhubarb Sandwich. The name Sealed Weasels made it's debut at a friend's wedding in 1994 where they played an eclectic set including songs by Roger Miller, The Beatles and The Ramones. These days, the sound is best defined as progressive power pop. The Weasels are inclined toward hooky melodies, and harmony vocals, but they are never afraid to rip your head off with mack truck guitar tones, gut rattling bass & booming drums. One thing is certain, Sealed Weasels will make sure that you remember where you were the first time you heard them. |

Press Reviews
I want this one! Lyrics and music go great together - I like the sound of this one! - Review of Bionic from garageband.com *************************************************** Really quite lovely, this song is. Ya see, this is what the world needs more of...three chords, memorable hook, simple structure. You can jam together all the notes ya want into one bar of music-it won't help ya tho-leave that shit to Steve Vai. This is what you want to be listening to. Not some group with a bunch of triple rectifier amps and shit guitar sound. This my friends is a SONG! Did you hear that? A SONG! - Review of Bionic from garageband.com |
