Artist History Raised in England, Ray came to LA inspired by his passion for writing. Upon arriving in LA he was signed by an Independent Label that released his first works as Syn-"A Matter of Time"(also on mp3.com).The first 2 singles were successful at AAA radio which led Ray to a publishing deal with EMI Music. The Syn record did not have distribution and stopped getting radio play when callers complained about not being able to buy the album in stores. A major label attempted to buy the album but the independent label was not willing to sell as they were seeking a distribution deal, not a buy out. His second record was recorded by EMI, they recorded it as part of their production company with plans to sell it to a major. Ray's latest music you can hear on mp3.com soon.
