    Artist History
Originally formed in Pasadena, CA, by Tim Kummerow, Ian Montgomery and A.J. Marik, Pendu Femelle was an experimental recording project from 1987-1991. In 1988 PF released (on the "Readymade" label) a 45 rpm clear vinyl single "Encounter with Duchamp" (b/w "The Main Event [The TV Wrustlin' Song]") which featured the sampled voice of Marcel Duchamp. The record was subsequently entered into the catalogue of the Library of the Museum of Modern Art, NY. Further recordings ensued, but with the exception of the Aztlan Records release of the PF song "Heredity" on the 1989 compilation album entitled "Nirvana," none were available to the public until now. All of the songs were recorded between 1987-1991. WE ARE NOW SEEKING A KEYBOARD/SYNTH/SAMPLER PLAYER for a new recording project. Please email tim@val.net if you are in the Los Angeles area and would like to participate.
