Artist description
Pacemaker Jane tends to be moist to the touch and has pleasant overtones of chocolate and cinnamon. Backed by a thumping, solid rhythm section, there are 2 singer/songwriter/guitarists who weave their contrasting, yet sympathetic ideals into a hearty stew of sonic delight. |

Artist History
Pacemaker Jane began in 1996 as a 3-piece with members of the Cleveland bands Government Cheese and 45 RPM, and the Toledo band Backline. They went through several changes with guitarists and singers and evolved into a 4-piece. They have played in and around the cities of Toledo, Cleveland and Ann Arbor and a few, out of the way, sleazy locations. Pacemaker Jane has never had any serious recordings until they made their first CD in May of 1999. |

Press Reviews
Ohio upstarts kick out versechorus Ska-Punk. Groovy drums, grungy guitars, and quirky, narrative lyrics could rock the kegger 'til dawn. Two points for lyrical reference to "...being worked over by a Keebler Elf..." ?Listen.com |
