Artist History We've played together for a couple of years now....but we've never played live...yet...we'll see what happends...we've recorded 3 demos...the first one with 3 covers(you can download the mp3's from our official website)...in March 1998 we recorded our second one with 5 own songs...we call that demo-cd "Morning Rainbow"...and in March 2000 we recorded the music for our third demo...the vocals and some acoustic guitars will be added in the future sometime...the two tracks "A Northern Hymn" & "Intensity" is not really finished...and it's just a raw & quick mix...so when the vocals and everything else is added...it will be carefully mixed...and posted here...there will be 5 tracks...three with vocals...the two new instrumental one's availble now is just like a single before the album comes out...ha ha ha...:o)...!

Press Reviews This band hails from Sweden and has sent me their five-song demo CD.The CD opens with intro called 'Serenity' after which the first (instrumental) song "Monastery" kicks in.From the first notes it becomes obvious that this band is a heavy metal band pure sang.Third song is "Sons Of The King" and features Annica Johansson on vocals.Annica has a good voice but she sounds a bit insecure on the song,like she is afraid to sing flat out,"Tears Of The Castle" is another instrumental piece that sounds very heavy and promising.Last song on this CD is the epic almost nine minutes long "Morning Rainbow".This song has also Annica on vocals and on this song she sings better than on the other tune.I don't know if Annica will become a permanent member but her voice goes well with the true metal of Olympia...rate...7 of 10.Undertow,Heavy Metal Web 'Zine,http://www.angelfire.com/on/spincity/...................HERE IS ONE MORE REVIEW...............Olympia..."Morning Rainbow"...OLYMPIA is not just the name of Helsinborg's fotball-arena,it's also a band from Mölnlycke(Sweden).They are one of the better demoband I've heard latley.On this fivetrack-demo you'll find,exept for the intro,two instrumental songs,and two with vocals.It is progressive,symphonic,heavy metal with female vocals that reminds a bit of Lana Lane.The music reminds a whole lot of IRON MAIDEN mixed with DREAM THEATER and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN influences.They have a really good song-structure with interesting tempo-changes and beautiful melodies.The music is interesting the whole time because they won't "ramble in nothingness" as many other band in this genre seems be in the habit of doin.Good musicians and I'm looking forward to the future were I hope they will have more vocals in their songs.Micke Svensson,Bright Eyes Magazine...http://bright-eyes.nu/ ...................HERE IS ONE MORE REVIEW...............Olympia..."Morning Rainbow"...”It would be fun to be reviewed ,even if we do not have any high ambitions”False humbleness or a fact?I don´t know.What I do know is that Olympia should raise their ambitions.With Iron Maiden in the driverseat,their Power Metal is really on the rise to the top of the genre.Here we´re talking about a band that really can play,and that´s a must for this kinda tricky musicstyle to work.The guitarharmonies sings lovley and the doublebass-drums rattle perfect.It´s big,powerful and full of feeling.The only objection is that they in their eagerness to create difficult music,to seldom pauses and take it easy for a while.Now every part is just 20 seconds long,and there are too many parts...GP Aveny...(Swedish magazine)...!
