Artist History Formed in 1992, the original line-up of JACK comprised Atlanta born American singer/songwriter David Moore, Ian Mellanby from Leeds, UK, formerly bass player of The Word Association, and ex Dee Dees guitarist, Alain Volta and drummer, Blanco. The 11-tracks on the bands 1996 debut album, Headspin, released on their own Big Sky label, captures their eclectic acoustic guitar driven sound, combining the classic American rock influences of Moore with the quirky European pop roots of the other band members. Following a period of side projects and general inactivity at the end of the nineties, three of the founding members have recently been joined on vocals by Les Silver D’Argent frontman "Bottom" and are currently working on songs for the long awaited follow up to Headspin. Previews of the new album will be available in MP3 format in the spring of 2000. The band are also planning a series of dates in their current base Paris, France.
