    Artist description
A world full of angst, frustration and self-loathing congealed into nose-bleed breakbeats, thrash guitar and messed up lyrics. DeathBoy is a one man electronic death machine with something nasty on his mind - his tracks are the pain squeezed out of every moment of life. The band (also called DeathBoy for tax purposes) crawl their way through the UK industrial scene via a complex mixture of alcohol abuse, nicotine and high voltage machinery, pretending to the world that they're the Rockstar Superheroes you've been looking for. Music to crash cars to...

    Artist History
DeathBoy started out (for his sins) as an Oldskool rave / hardcore / drum and bass artist. As the scenes died or stagnated, the sound moved on into the Industrial. Still smashing out the breakbeats, distortion, guitar and vitriolic lyrics moved in and by 2000 and "Invisible", the new sound was here - the sound of my own personal hell. Numerous albums later, DeathBoy was asked if he'd like to play live... with two weeks to finalise the band and their tracklist, he did a stupid, bad thing. He said "yes". DeathBoy now exists as a fluctuating dichotomy of bedroom-studio release and live act. Signed to Wasp Factory Records in the UK and a new album just released, things are looking extremely unpleasant for all concerned.

    Press Reviews
[Review for Psychotropic Locomotive] "Dark, spaztic Goth-BigBeat with a dead voice hanging in the background... This couldn't be a better dance / drug hit! If you like good music, this the download you've been waiting for. Nice and dark, with variations ranging from depressive to breakdancers death...This will blow your speakers (if they're good enough!)..."
