Artist History
A songwriter in private for many years, Charles decided to put his songs to the test- by playing them for complete strangers."You never know if you've created something worthwile until you play it live for an audience. You find out very quickly if you're on the right track," he explains.________________________________________________________The overwhelming response led to the December 1998 release of his debut CD, "Clear Across the Water." True to his intimate acoustic performance style, each song is dominated by piano or acoustic guitar, and often a blend of both.Tracks from the CD have been played on discriminating public radio stations across America and on commercial AC radio in Scranton, Pennsylvania._____________________________________________________"The most frequent comment I hear at my shows is that my songs are easy to listen to. I think thatfits me very well."Charles is now performing up and down the east coast and has received artist endorsements from Taylor Guitars, Elixir Strings and Fishman Electronics. ______________________________________________________________________ Charles has been a showcase performer at The Philadelphia Music Conference 2000, and has performed live radio interviews at many fine stations such as WXPN in Philadelphia .Charles is also an instrumental composer for jingles, themes and underscoring for commercial music and multi-media projects.
