Artist History Formed from other local bands in January 2001. Original line up included Jason Silverback from Grasp and Andy Davies and James Potter from Double Carpet. John Wilson,who had no previous gigging experience, provided original vocals. He can be heard on the MP3's on this website. After 5 gigs of which 4 were as headline act, John Left the band due to problems with his throat. He has now been replaced by Gavin House. Gav is a veteran of several local bands out of Southend and adds a more raw and rocky feel to the vocal input. The sound remains the same. Full of energy and crispness. Vinyl Elektra will be back on the road and touring from August. Keep your eyes peepled folks.
