Artist description As a producer and songwriter, Reginald has helped shape the music ministries of many gospel artists. He has collaborated with singers all over the country, carving out his own niche with his warm, jazzy and always spiritual sound. His original compositions have a personal feel, expressing a sentiment about God that all can relate to. As an arranger, he interprets every song with originality and polish. Since relocating back to his hometown of Maryland in 2000, Reginald has worked on projects for a number of Washington, D.C. area artists, among them, new talent Anika Tené, a young woman who delivers her message through a smooth yet exciting jazz album. He also worked with longtime friend Nathelene McMillan-Moore, whose blend of vocal power and interpretative creativity are virtually unparalleled. Making a rare foray into the forefront, Reginald recently released his own self-produced album, featuring his intimate songwriting, pianistic talent and earnest vocals. He is joined by sister Regina, whose lyrical and vocal contributions round out this first offering from The Reid Project. While production is his first artistic love, Reginald has done his rounds as a touring musician. While living in Nashville, Tenn., he was a member of Grammy winner CeCe Winans' 5-member band, playing keyboards for six years. During his tenure with Ms. Winans, Reginald performed before audiences of all kinds and sizes: at countless churches and arenas, for President Bill Clinton at the White House and other televised appearances. He also performed with Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams and Marvin and BeBe Winans on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). Reginald has focused much of his attention on independent artists - gifted singers without the benefit of large record label budgets. But he has recorded with Verity Records artists Maurette Brown-Clark and Virtue, as well as on several Verity Records projects.
