Artist History In October 2000, after the breakup of their local bands, Wes and Chris W. and Jacob and Chris Y. got together to form the backbone of what is now Mobis. Then, after numerous try-outs, Andrew joined the group in April 2001, completing the current lineup. Mobis revisits heavy music in a way that unfortunately, has been overlooked in the recent past. Taking a step back towards their roots, Mobis proudly omits the pop and rap influence that is now all too synonymous with "heavy metal" and delivers heavy music unfettered with mainstream sickness. Mobis aspires to be a factor in shaping a new direction in the Columbus heavy music scene.
