Musical Influences Alice in Chains to Frank Sinatra to Johann Sebastian Bach

Artist History I grew up with influences ranging from Duke Ellington to Twisted Sister, always with an appreciation for the great classical composers and true rock performers. My family is musically inclined, all from the Seattle area, my father, mother and older brother are/were all professional musicians at some point. My originals come from the heart, from the emotions that flow through me and pour out in the form of lyrics and vocals you hear. This album was cut live, the songs posted here are a recording of the first take. Music courses through my veins, keeps me up at night and playing the piano until 2 in the morning, there is always a song in my head, a theme at my fingers, and my dream is to play music and not have to work a day job. I thrive on music, feed on it. Life is an intense ride, a mix of love, pain, rage, changes, places, people, their effects on you, your effects on them, who you are, where you're going, what you think you want or need and how badly, what you live for, what you'd die for, what you love, who you hate, what eats at you on the inside and what gives you a natural high. Humans are a peculiar race, triggered by something as common as a sunset, oblivious to something as impacting as a war. Ignorance does carry it's own blissful quality, at times I wish I were happy knowing I could work a job for the rest of my life, retire to modest home and simply live the rest of my days but inside, there's this burning, aching to play music for the world, not like something I'm chasing but some higher force that's pulling me to itself. I feel as though I am going through life changes on a constant basis... the only thing that doesn't change is the passion for the music, and yearning to play for the multitudes. I have a message to share, and it is only the words of my heart, interpreted differently by every individual that hears them.
