Artist History Once upon a time, I was a songwriter. Then I went to grad school to get my master's degree in English. As a result, I nearly stopped writing lyrics altogether. During the summer following my first year in grad school, I downloaded a bunch of music recording shareware and began writing jazz fusion instrumentals. Thus, Ctrl-X was born...

Group Members Me, me and me, playing and/or programming a Hohner B-Bass 6, Hammerhead, Guild S60-D, Tacoma DR8C, n-Track Studio, H&K Tubeman Plus, Alesis drum machine, and a little Yami keyboard... My bro, Sean Flynn, plays drums on "Snake Hill Skink." I was going to have him play more, but he liked the drum programming I did on some of my other tunes so I kept those as is for now.

Instruments Anything with strings, as long as it doesn't require a bow.
