Artist description
To put it simply- Boombox Titans means this: Doing big things through small speakers. We are 7 men saved by grace, that have come from prisons, the streets, and even hardcore drug-abuse related lifestyles, to form an active hip hop ministry for Christ and His Kingdom, that we call Boombox Titans. The meaning behind the name is simply that with Christ, we come with power through the speakers you're listening on, to change lives in a positive way. We believe in making straight up, true school hip hop, that will hold it's own on ANY level, as well as consistently delivering the non-compromising message of the gospel wherever we go. We represent Las Vegas, Nevada- and are looking to elevate the artform of hip hop with every release, as well bringing the repsect of our hip hop forefathers and contemporaries, to our city we live in. |

Artist History
Coming from a family line that includes US President, James K. Polk, to the first woman to ever grace the cover of Life Magazine, to countless musicians, artisans, and pastors, it is no surprise that Kid Sundance would grow up to blaze his own trails in his time. Formed in April of 2001 by Kid Sundance, and soon joined by R n B singer Cause-B, the Boombox Titans quickly went from a hobby, to a full time pursuit in less than 2 years' time. In the three years that the Titans have been around, they have gone from your everyday part time "heads", to becoming one of the several Las Vegas crews that are now on the forefront of the budding Holy Hip Hop "scene" in their famous "sin-city". As a producer, Kid Sundance has produced for MTV on several occassions, as well as producing for NBA player Tyrone Nesby, and has even had hip hop legend, Too $hort give him the thumbs up on his homemade drum break fashioning. As an engineer, Kid Sundance recorded a #1 Billboard Dance Chart Hit, "Get Some Lovin" (Kristine W. vs. Murk), and has worked with Ludacris, and Too $hort on several occasions. Cause-B is one of the most naturally gifted instrumentalists you'll ever meet and has performed around the nation with Honorbound, an AG worship movement. Jocyph is an incredible graf writer, with more than just an eye for drawing, e is also a very talented graphic artist and is one of our main DJ's. Torch is pure fire on the mic, and knows more about the Bible than a lot of Pastors, which is good because he may be called to that field soon. The Oracle is a gifted solo artist looking to strengthen our ranks, and brings a tremendous work ethic to the crew as well as a true heart for God, that he has displayed for all to see at countless festivals all over the nation including being the first rapper to ever rhyme at a Benny Hinn youth convention. Phenom is a young, gifted producer and writer with an original flair all his own, and a heart for God that we should all wish to have. Last but noit least, DJ Vidal is quickly moving up the ranks, he is a true to life martial arts master studyin his whole life, and is an awsome leader in his youth group. |
