Artist History The Inducers, formed in early 2000 under the name The Defectors and laster Barrister Rocksteady as a collection of Washington, DC musicians interested in mixing the soulful sounds of 60's and 70's with innovative and modern musical influences. After nearly a year and a half, and several line-up changes later, The Inducers remain based in the District and consists of a variety of musicans who hail from up and down the east coast.
