Artist description
Texas World Music Concerts is the brainchild of Dallas musician Mike Dawson. Mike's experience playing and recording music around the world taught him that collaboration is the key to success. And so our collective was begun. To date, Dawson's collective include musicians from Dawson's Band, Nervewerks, Chris Miller, Rhett Butler, Bart Van Bemmell of the Satellite Bishops, Minefield, Amy Jo, and other exceptional Texas musicians. In order to find a new and burgeoning audience, Mike Dawson produces Texas World Music Concert performances. By carefully blending songwriting styles ranging from rock and blues to jazz and reggae, the live performances provide a wide array of music from around the world with a Texas flair. The performers are hard working, seasoned professionals who enjoy performing together as much as they enjoy music. Dawson recently performed and produced original band-singer-songwriter showcases in North Texas. |
