Artist description
Inc.
This is blue-eyed soulful trip-hop for the slacker generation. Think Blue Lines mixed with Screamadelica, add the Red Hot Chilli Peppers in mellow mood, and you're getting toward the Inc sound. Something for everyone may be a tired old cliche but occasionally an act comes along that can be described in no other way, Inc is such a band. They have drawn on a huge range of diverse musical influences and managed to retain the feel of the originals whilst creating an entirely new sound, that's no mean feat. Captivating production, meticulous attention to detail, soulful vocals, and lyrics that Costello would be proud of combine to make an album of irrefutable

Artist History
Inc. are a collaboration between singer/guitarist/songwriter Paul Miro, producer/bass player Alan Bleay and drummer/percussionist Laurie Jenkins.
Paul and Laurie first worked together as teenagers with the 1990 pop phenomenon Candy Flip, and went on in the late nineties to make up two thirds of the arty leftfield rock band Apes, Pigs and Spacemen. Laurie has also gained much acclaim working with such artists as Chaka Khan, Mishka and Edwin Starr, and he continues to tour and record with, among others, Heather Nova and Sandy Dillon.
Alan is similarly seasoned and experienced. Via his production company Arclite Productions, together with Laurie, he has provided music for the soundtracks of major films and TV ads and has established a reputation for his distinctive remixes, for which, most recently, he has been in demand by artists such as James and Marcella Detroit.
In May 2000, following the popularity of their debut internet-only release Default, Inc. were featured in a Channel 4 T.V. documentary. Since then, the band members have been busy fine-tuning their unique brand of hip-hop influenced songs and building on their online fanbase.
