FRIKSHIN incorporates funky/hip hop bass lines; heavy, tuned-down guitar with hypnotic melodies; explosive/tribal percussion;Urban DJ spinning and samples; and emotion filled lyrics to create the sound they call their own.

Artist History FRIKSHIN was originally by Kevin (guitar) and Jermone (bass) in tha heart of tha NoHo district. Martin (percussion) was discovered at a local music store and was immediately asked to join the band. The three bandmates played around for a while, jammin' out cover songs. Sergio (vocals) sat in on one of the band's practices, jumped on the mic, and officially joined the band. The wrote songs for a while and did a couple of undaground shows. FRIKSHIN was looking for a fifth member to complete the sound they were trying to portray. DJ EARWAXX (turntables) was a long time friend of Martin's. FRIKSHIN held one audition and immediately asked him to join. Argo (vocals) has been a long time friend of the band's and finally joined to complete the line up. Since then, FRIKSHIN has been writing music straight from the soul and spreading their message throught LA. FRIKSHIN has played with bands such as SOMNIA and UNDERPUSH (very good friends of the band), Rumblefish, Hemlock, Facedown, Affliction, Stolen Babies, Clown X, Stricken, Turn of the Screw, Diminished and many more at such venues as The Whisky and The Roxy.
