Artist description
Ephatha is a group of friends and spiritual family that combine the creative songwriting process with storytelling, and visual arts on a romp through exciting existencial and spiritual quandries. "We're all on a journey" they say, "let's figure some of this out and enjoy ourselves in the process." They see themselves as good will ambassadors between God and Man. " It is like God is writing planet earth this heart-wrenched lovesong, and we just want to be near it, and share its melodies with all who will hear. |

Artist History
As strange as this is all of the members of Ephatha met in a small town in West Texas where they attended Abilene Christian University. Matt the brave and Stephanie the beautiful were originally from Fort Worth Texas. Corey grew up in a suburb just south of Dallas, where he learned to look at the world. Sarah Lynn was raised attached to a piano in Portsmouth Virginia. Mindy grew up and became the rythm queen art miestro in Amarillo, Tx. They began playing together at parties and small worship events(sometimes in Amy J's underground storm shelter), Then began to play fairly regularly at campus events and at Mezamiz Coffee house in Abilene. They are all relocating to Eugene Oregon where the music will continue and will move foreward, and where they all will participate in the Christ Fellowship Church and will lead people to the throne of Grace on Sundays. |
