Press Reviews
"Every so often a band shows up that's so refreshing it feels like an Irish Spring is pouring fresh mountain water all over your scalp. The band that has been drowning me in fresh mountain water recently is Burning Flag, a new band created by Lenny Sannes, Kyle Kotecki, Jeremy Hornkohl, and Luke Hunter (since has quit and now Jerry Sullivan is the drummer). I'm pleased to say that this is Burning Flag's first ever written review. The band so far has two outstanding tracks, "Plea," and "Why." Their second track released just last week entitled "Why." Gone is the bass solo, in the track is the guitar solo by Jeremy who teaches the pick like it's an extension of his hand. Burning Flag also goes more in depth with the lyrics on their latest song. Recording for the band has slowed down as Luke Hunter doesn't quite have the time to put a full 100% in the band, and Lenny has recently suffered an injury to his left hand. Burning Flag brings something to the Manistee music scene, and you must respect the originality. No live performances are scheduled as of April 30th, but keep your ears open." -Mark Bottrell Chippewa Herald |
