Artist History
Formalized in Boulder, CO in 1994 after the demise of the project Neural Fracture. Seeking to move into a cleaner synth-based area than that of NF, he began recording intially without a name. having cobbled together a six track EP, the name Aurifex was chosen. The first EP, "Propaganda by Deed" was released in Colorado as a cassette and songs from that release appeared on the Biotech 01 compilation (SDS019/101). After a move to Texas in 1995 and several life-changing events, the project took on a harsher and more complex tone. Several tracks were featured on compilations in the following years, including Biotech 02 (SDS 103), SubversionComp (Alterculture), and Futronik Structures (DSBP). |
