The Fifth Circle is unlike anything you've ever heard! There are way too many groups that sound like somebody else! Example: Alice In Chains wannabe's! |

Artist History
The Fifth Circle was formed in the early part of 2000 in Mid-Michigan. The band's current members are Trevor Scharich (Lead Guitars and Vocals), Jacob Jimenez (Drums and Backup Vocals), Eric Niemczyk (Bass), and Caleb Jimenez (Rhythm Guitar). The band was formerly known as Faith Circle and Empire of the Son. Our musical influences range all the way from the classic rock of Pink Floyd to the funk rock of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, from acoustic rock (reminiscent of Alice in Chains Unplugged) to the industrial rock sound pioneered by Nine Inch Nails. But with all the different styles the Fifth Circle draws from, one thing remains a constant: ROCK! When Trevor, Eric, and I (Jacob) started this band, we made it clear to each other that no matter what, we would not be pigeon-holed like so many of the rap-rock bands that are popular today. Now there are brilliant exceptions to the rap-rock style, with Rage Against the Machine and 311 coming immediately to mind. But getting back to the Fifth Circle, we wanted to make whatever kind of rock we were in the mood to make. Not whatever is being played on the radio at the time. That is what we set out to do and that is what we will continue to do!
