Artist History
Steelshed formed about 3 years ago as "DEVIZTANT." At that time it was Erich and Tiago on guitar, ted on drums, Dux on vocals, and a kid named Scot Brunel on bass. Practices were filled with argument and cover songs. Dux and Erich weren't happy with the situation or where it was going and they decided to leave. Shortly after Dux and Erich started another band w/the same name and with Tim Sav. on bass, a good friend to the two members. In search of drummer they reunited w/Ted and Tim Sav. left because of reasons, and is still a close non-member to the band. The band remained a 3-piece w/ted on drums, Dux on mic, and Erich on guitar. The band started to audition bass players. The first being J Weir, a talented bass player Norton. He joined the band right after audition and stuck w/the band for awhile. But problems started to brew w/J because of differences. He left shortly after, but we as a band wish hime the best of luck, because he deserves it. The band joined up w/a good friend of theres Steve Legrow, a local guitar player. LeGrow was interested in being a band so he took up the bass and now maintains the position. LeGrow's bass style of Punk clashed with melodic style and grasping beats of Erich and Ted. Steelshed was born. The mixing of many styles and melodies have formed the undefinable genre of Steelshed, a band all its own. |
