Artist History The band was built in 1823 by Sir William of Oxford after as a memorial to the battle of Broadstreet in which 500 people were seriously serious.By 1912 they were brought back to life when a spotty man came and covered them in his magic dust. Now they are a listed band. So aren't allowed to add another staircase, so the band hold up to 60 people but has the potential to hold 120.
