Artist description
I like everything, not to sound like everyone who
tends to make this comment, and then you find
out that they hate rap, country, jam bands,
oldies, electronic music, pop and anything that
sells a platinum record at that. Give me a break!
I like it all, some obviously more that others, but there is accredation in hooks and musicianship and emotion. I also hate to hear jazzers knock all other music
and refer to sell out jazz greats like Gearge Benson and
Kenny G as suckers. Hey we all have to make a living. I love it all. I see a different human
perspective in every genre. Some of my music is
funky, some poppy, some just completely ridiculous
(that's the most fun stuff to do). As much as I
respect a well written song, it is always fun to
throw off the listener, or piss off a critical
musical ear. I like music "That makes no sense at
all", because to someone, it probably does.
Anyhow, this is my shit.

Artist History
I have been a musician since piano lessons at 7,
then guitar at 12, then drums at fourteen,
along with a handfull of instruments that I may
never use again. I have played in many bands,
the first, a funk band from Springfield, MO named
"SOLID JONES". Left Springfield behind for Memphis
in 1999. I played bass in a world fusion
band called "Fausto" with front man Terry McClain
aka: "The Realside"- www.mp3.com/therealside.
Then for "National Tuesday"(?). I was a music
business major at the University of Memphis,
and I now run a night club (hitonememphis.com)
This is what I do to kill
what little time I have. |
