Artist History Alexander Lvov, the one who stands behind the name of Melodrome Project, started his musical career as a jazz pianist in the early 80s in Ukraine. Leader of a successful jazz band Melodrome (1986-1991), he composed and performed untraditional improvisational jazz music. Melodrome won a number of local and national awards, including the first Crystal Lion jazz festival (1988, best soloist, pianist), Jazz on Dnepr (1988, best jazz band) and the 1989 USSR national Crystal Lion jazz festival (best jazz composition). In 1998 Alexander turned his interests towards contemporary electronic music. His today's musical experience is mainly New Age with soft jazz influences. In the meanwhile he is working on the upcoming album "At the Edge of the Earth".
