Within the past year Francine's skills have been largely recognized by ASCAP.
She was chosen as one of twelve to participate in the Lester Sill's Workshop 2001, and was also awarded
The Popular Award 2001 by ASCAP.
Also in the past year, Francine composed music on 4 projects for Tony Kaye, director of American History X. |

Artist History
A native of New York, Francine's heritage includes that of a Brooklyn born father and a Japan born mother.
She credits her parents for her classical piano studies since the age of five, the invaluable exposure they gave
her to different cultures, and her drive to succeed. |
