Artist description Dirt, a four-piece band from the rock and roll city of Cleveland, Ohio is composed of Dave DBC Burzanko on lead vocals and turntables, Jim Bryant on guitars, Bill Foltzer on bass, and Mark Policy B. on drums. The group blends many influences and musical styles as rap, hard rock, metal, and hip-hop. Started in 1996, Burzanko and Mark B left a pop rock band to put efforts into their new project. Recruiting Jim and Bill from a local recording studio, the quartet was complete. Dirts heavily rhythmic sound and DBCs compelling lyrics and rap style make for a look into the future of rock and hip-hop. Pressure Cooker, released from the groups self-made disc, reached #1 on the Internet radio network Everstream in the summer of 2000. "The Need", and "Funkin' Your Head Up" also reached #1 for the Cleveland and Ohio regions here on MP3.
