Artist History
How does a young man who grew up in poverty in Africa where he couldn't afford music lessons, or instruments find his way in to the States to record his Debut CD? It took presistence, determination, talent and luck to make this Album come true for Victor Sila. He worked tirelessly for more than seven years to raise money to records the album. With money raised from odd jobs, Victor hired some of the best musicians, engineers and vocalist to record at top studios in San Francisco. The result - organic live sound as heard in Sade and Brand New Heavies album. The old school feel approach to the music is intentional. If you love live music, then this album is for you. It mixes neo soul with funk and African pop. Introducing - VICTOR SILA |
