Artist History Born in Los Angeles in 1962, Victory Stapf, (aka Synthetrix) grew up listening to a broad range of musics, but was drawn to electronic music after hearing classics like "Switched On Bach" by Wendy Carlos and Kraftwerk's "Autobahn". Synthetrix recorded with L.A. DJ Eli Star in the 90s under the name PROTOSOUND. He released his first solo album in December of 2001 and is currently working on the followup.
