Artist History
Middletown, New York native Sarah Morr learned guitar from her father at the age of 10, and has been singing for as long as she can remember. Her older sister introduced her to the world of pop/mainstream music and radio at the age of 4, and Sarah always found herself continually listening and singing along to her massive cassette (then later on) CD collection. Sarah studied Opera and voice for 6 years and had the oppurtunity to perform in New York State's "All State Music Festival Mixed Choir ensemble" both her junior and senior years of high school. After high school, Sarah went on to study voice on her own and expanding her vocals even more along with the rich sound of her own music and writing. Sarah has been in various bands over the years including: Angsiety, The Vedas, Priestess, Sarah Morr and Pablo, and currently the Sarah Morr Band. She has worked with and become friends with many acclaimed artists such as: Kim Simmonds and David Malachowski of Savoy Brown, Chet Atkins, Nokie Edwards of the Ventures, Tommy Emmanuel, Neil Perry, and Wayne Grassfield to name a few. Sarah wishes to pursue her music career and to one day have her dream of being a "rock star" come true! She has always had the faith, optimism, ambition, and strength to pursue it and knows she will one day achieve her goal. |
