    Artist History
    "NOSOTROSOUND" was created in Guadalajara, Mexico in 1976 as an ensemble dedicated to the research and performance of traditional folk music from Latin-America. Since its creation "Nosotros" has performed and participated in numerous music festivals and seminars, expanding their musical knowledge and exchanging experiences with musicians from several countries. Nowadays, "NOSOTROS" mainly performs in the Southwest of the United States and North of Mexico.

    "Quena": Andean notched flute of pre-Columbian origin, "Sikus": Andean pan-pipe Flutes, "Ocarina": Authochthonous Aztec clay Flute, "Charango":10-string instrument from Bolivia, made out of an armadillo shell, "Guitarron":Base string instrument of the Mariachi, "Vihuela": Five-string instrument of the Mariachi, "Jarana":8-string instrument that has a lively sound and is used in Veracruz on the Southeastern coast of Mexico. "Bombo": A big Argentinian drum, "Palo de Lluvia":This "rain stick" is a thick bamboo rod with loose tiny sheels inside. "Chak-Chak":Rattle made out of a deer's hoof, "Bajosexto": A 12-string instrument for Norteno music and Acoustic guitars
