Artist description
What do you get when you put two drunks in a room with a computer, who can actually keep a beat?....You get Deceptik. What do you get when you hear Deceptik?...Fuckin' pissed off, I hope. Deceptik isn't here to make your day seem brighter or for your lives to seem less bleak than they already are. We're here just to have a good time and hopefully provoke acts of hostile behavior in your average everyday lives. There's no real way to describe the intricate sounds of Deceptik's music. It's basically music to set your mind at ease. Enabling you to cop out and give up. Putting an end to all your inner tensions. Yeah we may sound harsh at times, and yeah you might get that ringing in your ears after listening to our music for more than a couple of minutes at a time. But who the hell cares?! Not us, that's for sure. We're here to get laid and have fun. Our music is not to be taken seriously. Nor should it be taken lightly. This shit isnt as deep and meaningful as the bands that you hang posters of up on your wall. We're not regulars at any bullshit club that you go to every week (with the exceptance of siting mike at your local strip joint). We're not some pseudo industrial metal outfit that dabbles with the whole boy band marketing schemes in hopes for mtv acceptance either. If something we do or say seems out of place, contradictory, or in bad taste; then PLEASE just let us know. Don't ever hesistate to share your feelings with Deceptik. All you have to do is give us your name, your address and a detailed description of your dilema(s). You then can expect a prompt response along the lines of us coming to your house and fucking your sister. In a nice way, of course. Cuz thats what Deceptik is really all about FEELINGS. So if we can make the world a nice happy place. And we help make you more in touch with your feelings (and not to mention getting a taste of your sibblings), then what more can we ask for in life? And further more what more could you possibly ask of Deceptik? |

Artist History
Welcome to the world of Deceptik. So much has happened before the fecal release of Deceptik, but this is a web page not a book. So sorry guys, today you get the "brief" history of us. Deceptik was basically formed out of nowhere. Before Deceptik there was Axis. If you've studied your scolex history you would know that mike was originally in Axis. Now, it all started after a concert Axis had played. When Axis got home to check their web page they had a strange e-mail from a man named Justin. In Justin's e-mail he wrote that Axis basically sucked and that they were nothing but pussies! Of course this angered the members of Axis. After weeks of constant hate mail, being sent back and forth from Axis to Justin, everyone basically made up and started talking like normal human beings to each other. Pretty soon everyone was happy and we all lived peaceful lives together right?...Wrong. Justin had joined Axis just for fun at the time(at that same time Justin had started a band of his own, IDIM). All was well until after a show at the birch hill. This show was Axis's last show, so of course we went out with a bang. With mike's drunken stupor and barely able to take the stage as Axis's frontman, Justin dropping and breaking his 303, and chris not playing in key whatsoever. The outcome of this incident made the whole decision of putting Axis to rest a lot easier(Not to mention chris's whole scheme with justin's ex girlfriend during and after the show. So chris moved on to a career in the military, and jake from IDIM got so pissed with justin he almost had a nervous break down Deceptik was then spawned. I know the details and direction of Deceptik's history might seem sketchy, but thats the way it seems to us too. |
