Artist description
THE BILL CLINTONES- Formed in 1996, this three piece punk power trio from upstate New York was once the dominating punk force in that region, however they mysteriously dissapeared from the spotlight in early 1999, leaving only one CD and a legacy of pants-dropping and string-breaking behind. |

Artist History
The brain child of Chris Martin, Alex Shortt, and John Sheehan, the Bill Clintones started as a small act called "Samsonite". After aquiring drummer ALEX LOY in a high stakes game of poker, the group changed it's name and began rocking Rochester, Ny as the BILL CLINTONES. Unfortunaly, Chris decided to forgoe rock stardom to follow his dream of animal husbandry to Kansas, and the Clintones became a trio, feeling Chris could never be replaced. Playing dozens of shows and wowing millions of ladies, the Bill Clintones owned the punk rock scene in Rochester until their sudden disapearance after their final show in May of 1999. Their CD was discontinued after it's final run, and it became nearly impossible to find any recordings of them, bootleg or otherwise. Fortunatly, drummer Alex Loy recently re-discovered his master recording and decided to release it on the internet for all to enjoy. |
