AFFLICTION IS A FOUR-PIECE BAND WITH THE CREATIVITY OF TOOL AND THE AGGRESSIVE POWER OF PANTERA. THE BAND CONSISTS OF CHUY SANDOVAL “GUITARS”, EDDIE LOPEZ “BASS”, RICH LOPEZ “DRUMS” AND DAVE RUBENHOLD “VOCALS”. EACH MEMBER BRINGS A DIFFERENT ELEMENT OF CREATIVIITY INTO THEIR MUSIC TO CREATE THEIR OWN UNIQUE STYLE. THE BAND INTERTWINES MANY MUSICAL GENRES TO MAKE A DIFFERENT SOUND AND HAVE AN ENERGY FILLED ATMOSPHERE AT THEIR SHOWS. AFFLICTION WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1999 IN SAN DIMAS, CALIFORNIA. THEY HAVE PLAYED MANY FAMOUS VENUES IN HOLLYWOOD AND THE INLAND EMPIRE CLUB CIRCUIT SUCH AS THE WHISKY, THE KEY CLUB, THE ROXY, AND THE GLASSHOUSE. THEY ALSO PLAY GREAT LOCAL PUBS AND OTHER SMALL VENUES WHERE THEY PACK THE HOUSE FOR AN ENERGETIC VIBE THAT RULES THE NIGHT. THEY HAVE CREATED A LARGE FAN BASE AND HAVE GAINED GREAT POPULARITY SOLEY BY WORD OF MOUTH AND PROMOTION OF THEIR SELF- RELEASED CD. THE BAND HAS PLAYED WITH NATIONAL ACTS SUCH AS HED(PE), SX10, SLAVES ON DOPE AND FAMOUS. THEIR GOAL IS TO BECOME A WORLDWIDE ACT, AND SATURATE RADIO AIRWAVES WITH AFFLICTION MUSIC.
