Music Style
(1) Grin-groove has elements of dance and ambient music -- plus the spice of stories told late at night around a fire after injesting a mind-altering substance. (2) But there are also love songs -- big, romantic, weepy things that come from an often-hi |

Artist History
As a music critic, I NEVER made notes while someone was performing. I just let the music hit me. If I still liked it the next day, I wrote about how it affected my head, heart or hips. If I didn't care for it, I wrote nothing. This was so logical and so ideal that naturally I was despised by other critics and shunned by publishers. Which may explain why most music criticism falls into 4 categories: 1. Well-written but corporate/bland (most of the big papers/mags). 2. Good-hearted but inept (the fanzines). 3. Passionate but one-dimensional (the mags that cater to one genre). 4. Fueled by bribes (the rags where the writers sell "publicity" and "management" to the very artists they claim to cover). No longer among the pencil-necked geeks, now my music can be heard in clubs, dorm rooms, parties, radio/TV commercials and various dens of iniquity all over the globe. ∂ |

Press Reviews
In one song, I review myself ("you'll find him richly entertaining, like a climax you're sustaining? he's the best you've ever seen, the equal of methamphetamine") but I think we'll just skip over the hype for right now. Give a listen and see if my tunes touch you. If no, peace; if yes, joy. |
