    Artist History
there was once a band named "EM." they had potential. then they came out with a cd of CRAP. the cd was all improv, and the songs could have been good, if the cd wasn't released, and if they actually had practiced them more. the cd had shamed their name. they were also a Christian band, and the name, standing for "elements of misery" wasn't very Christian-sounding. the band changed their name to "MENE," which is Aramaic for "God has numbered the days of your reign, and the days have come to and end." (literally, it means 'numbered,' but in Daniel 5, it means this) the name was kind of an ugly name, yet they still wanted something that means a lot more than that, and a lot better name, seeing that they were not a "politically-focused" band. they became a whole new band. disgusted with the old stuff, and wanting a new style. they didn't want to be a "complaining band" anymore. only Neill and Jimmy remained, and they added Eric as a new guitarist, in the place of Nathan, who didn't want to be in the band anymore, and Will took the place of Neill on the drums, who took up the Percussion (drums standing up). They basically took the old songs that sucked, practiced them, re-wrote them, and patched them up, so the songs actually sound presentable. one day, Jimmy was reading the Bible, when he saw a hebrew reference dictionary in the back of it. he found the word "rum" (long "u" sound), which meant "to exalt." on a later date, Jimmy was talking it over with Neill, and Neill kept saying how it was a good name, but it would make us sound like alcoholics, being that the spelling is the same as "rum," the alcohol, so Jimmy was thinking about respelling, and he turned to Neill and said "what about 'room 25?' " Neill said "what?? that's dumb." and Jimmy said "no...think about it....rum is pronounced the same as room, so change that word, preventing the accusation of us being alcoholics...and then tell me, what is the 25th letter of the alphabet?" to which Neill replied "y.....why?" Jimmy said "YHVH....Yahweh. exalt Yahweh....room 25."
