Artist History
Low Emissions started in the summer of 2000 when Tim first came to Valhalla High School. Tim and Brandon met
at band camp. They mostly just messed around for the next 6 months writing heavy rock pieces, until that fateful day
Brandon wrote “Beautiful.” They played it at lunch and people thought it was tight. After that they wrote a couple
more songs and played them everday at lunch. They also played some GooGooDolls and Creed songs that people
liked to hear. In the summer of 2001 Brandon introduced Tim to a drummer known as Ben. Tim was amazed at his
skill. They wouldn’t play as a whole again until later in Tim’s senior year. They stuck together, and eventually
recorded their first version of their demo, “Call on Saturday,” using the choral departments mixer and DAT recorder.
Although not mixed very well, they have recieved much applause for their effort. Before that Brandon and Tim had
done some amatuer recording using Tim’s POS computer.....hence “Beautiful (A Song About A Girl)” and “Life
Goes On.” They now hope to add a sax and bass guitar to their trio. |
