Artist History ZYCHEK as a band is a direct result of the musical evolutionand travels of David Zychek, as years of studio work and performances betweenLos Angeles, Denver, and Dallas fueled his desire toplay the music he loves the most with people who share the vision.David Zychek and long-time friend San Davis have been playing guitars togethersince 1972, and really started the ground work for the ZYCHEKproject throughout the 80's as the style and approachstarted to gel. Originally known as The Groove Kings,with drummer Gary Pavlica, this powerful trio has alwaysbeen known for a sound greater than the sum of it's partswithout the use of sequencers and pre-recorded embellishments.
