Artist History Chad was a skater, a microchip manufacturer and a car-stereo installer; Chris was a mechanic, a road-drag racer, and a motorcycle enthusiast; Tom worked in coffee shop retail, went to county college and was really into viewing life through different scopes and lenses...; and Craig worked at a sweat-shop-turned-flag manufacturer, was into both computer graphics and getting free coffee from Tom. Hence, an aggressive, punkish-rock band was put at the forefront of hopes and dreams for awhile...Threadline took residence in the northern New Jersey town of Morris Plains, rehearsing for 2 1/2 years in an old suburban real estate building that specialized in selling cat toys. They moved their sound out of the rehearsal and into various American Legion Halls, Firehouses, and V.F.W.'s with their almost monthly NOISEExtra indie-punk rock showcases, inviting friends and luminaries to make some "artistic noise" alongside them. Among the numerous showcases, such acts included The Van Pelt, Shades Apart, All Natural Lemon and Lime Flavors, Camber, Seething Grey, My Favorite Citizen, Rocketscience, Congress of Cow, Squiggy, Ember and many more.... long live rock and roll.Chosen Recording Studio of Choice: Sweetwood Sounds in Parsippany, NJ of course.
