Musical Influences
My main influences are Rock, Brazilian and Classical music. A great variation of genre, style, rhythm, the last of incalculable amount and variety, gets along and makes part of the graduation of every musician in Brazil, what becomes his net of information and personal musical influences into a truly magic caldron. That particularity of musicians graduation gives a peculiar, special touch to the Brazilian way of making music. Whatever their influences and personal preferences are, the result is, at least, interesting and typical. |

Artist History
I am composer and guitarist, born in 1959, São Paulo, Brazil.Professional musician since 1978, I've been playing with some of the most important names of theater and Brazilian pop music in shows, sound-tracks and theatre plays, taking part in special events and more than 100 records, as session musician, with several artists. I have also recorded an album as an integrant of RADAR, the band which has accompanied Belchior (a well known Brazilian singer and song-writter) for a few years, and have also made a solo career. Sebastião Tapajós, Raul de Souza, Gilberto Gil, Fagner, Margareth Menezes, Raul Seixas,Osvaldinho do Acordeon, Rosa Maria and Ednardo are some of the artists who had my guita beside them. Concerning theater, I have performed with Beatriz Segall, Gabriel Vilella, Zé Celso, Marco Antônio Rodrigues, Antônio Fagundes, Flávio Rangel, Wolff Maia, Fauzi Arap, outstanding, expressive names of Brazilian theater and television. At present, besides Belchior shows and theater sound-tracks projects, I have my own shows and workshops with my instrumental solo CD, "Pulsares", which has the acoustic guitarist Sebastião Tapajós special participation on the track Adonis. |
