Artist History Mad 4 Blues is my little solo thingy, on the back of hundreds of gigs with blues rock bands No Sweat and Kick The Kat in the late 1980s and early to mid 1990s. Mad 4 Blues is my way of putting out original blues songs, whilst (in the main) not really getting out on the road too much due to family / day job etc. Got one or two irons in the fire though & maybe I'll get back in a "proper" band again soon but meanwhile I think there's some decent efforts amongst these songs which I hope you like & enjoy. I play various styles of music but I am pretty mad 4 the blues, especially played heavy & I take inspiration from the likes of Gary Moore, Pat Travers, Rory Gallagher, Walter Trout, Robin Trower. My all time favourite blues track is Statesboro Blues, written by Blind Willie McTell, covered by many but especially well by Pat Travers. That's it really, nothing fancy just good honest song writing and playing.
