Artist History
J.D.: "In 1999, Reggie heard me play guitar at a party at Brian's house. He said, "Come over and jam -- I have recording equipment." So I did and, after a month or so, Brian showed up with his drums and the rest, as they say, is history".
Drunken Unkle is an group of Northern transplants to the South. J.D. and Reggie hail from Ann Arbor, Michigan, but had to travel 750 mile south before they met. Brian hails from Chicago. Of the three, Reggie is the only Unkle who actually
studied music in school; J.D. learned to finger-pick as a teenager and Brian is self taught... |
