Artist description
DJ Illusion (Ricky G.) started producing music in late 1999, even though he had been interested in making music since 1998, the technology was finally made available to him at an affordable cost. Not being able to afford hardware, he crafted his songs using software such as Sonic Foundry's ACID Style (now in v3.0). In late 2000 he completed his first full-length CD which included tracks which he had programmed and arranged using SF's ACID. The disc, titled "X," featured songs such as "Pump It Up," "Mix 'n Match (Journey Remix)," and "Brat." Then in early 2001, he was able to finally produce his own completely original material using VST software. Now, a year later, the new CD is close to completion and contains tracks such as "Number 1," "Rhythm of One," and the amazing "Siren in the Sky." |
