Artist description I am a musician who got tired of playing in bands, so I decided to write my own stuff. I think I'm too A.D.D. to stick to one style, so doing my own thing made sense. Some of these tunes are collaborations, so be sure to check the songs for all the info. Also, there will soon be links to other projects I've done that are more group oriented. Enjoy and check back often - I'm always coming up with new stuff!

Musical Influences Too many to list, but here's a taste: Primus, Terry Bozzio, Tony Levin, Peter Gabriel, Eric Satie, Ginastera, Beethoven, Helmet, Robert Fripp, Laundry, etc.

Artist History I started playing piano when I was little. Then I somehow conned my parents into buying me a drumset. After that I played in a classic rock/blues band throughout middle and high school. When I went off to college, I wanted to try something completely different, so I joined a heavy metal/thrash band. Talk about fun drums to play!!! Around this time I also picked up a bass guitar and started to learn. Soon an offshoot band was formed with me playing bass and 'singing.' It was pretty much a Primus rip-off, but it was a lot of fun. Still in college, I had switched my major from percussion to communications with a minor in piano. This led to several composition courses that in turn led to some of the pieces on this site. After college the bands I was in went their separate ways and I found myself making TV and radio commercials for a living. This has been great, because in the off hours I have access to a studio and that means FREE RECORDING!!! As you could probably guess, that has led to many recording sessions and some pretty neat music. If you have read all of this, I'm amazed! Actually, thanks for caring and enjoy the music!!!
